JUMP - Children’s Ministry concludes their summer of Rocket Science on August 31st at Olinda school 12:30 pm with the launching of their very own rockets. Bring a lunch and some chairs out to the school. You will not want to miss the launching of 40 individual payloads. Thank you to the McCauley family for their contribution to JUMP all summer long.
Mike and Kristen Wooten have accepted a new position in Pismo Beach at Kristen’s parents’ church. Mike informed our Elder board of his decision to resign in the last couple of weeks and will be starting at his new church on August 25th. We appreciate the contribution Mike and Kristen have made to Bay Hills andask you to join in praying for them as they move into a new season of God’s service.
Since learning of Mike’s plans the staff and Elders have been considering many different possibilities for the future leadership of our Youth. Bay Hills, and, in particular, Elevate Student Ministry. The Student Ministry has been blessed with wonderfully passionate volunteers as well as interns who are more than capable of making Elevate a place where this community’s youth can be introduced to Jesus Christ and grow closer in their walk with Him.
We are all excited about where God is leading Bay Hills Community Church. Please join us as we pray expectantly for God to move in the Bay Area as we continue to radically reach the Bay Area for Christ. Thank you for your prayers and willingness to serve Christ at Bay Hills.
